West Chester 2, Converse 0 | Free | September 27, 2026

West Chester broke a scoreless tie in the fourth quarter and defeated Converse 2–0 on Sunday, September 27, at Spartanburg, South Carolina. Converse’s schedule, the pregame preview, SAC calendar, and both schools’ calendar entries list 10:00 a.m. EDT, while both final box-score pages list 12:00 p.m. The actual start time is unresolved; attendance is 125.

Veerle Hersman scored at 46:09, then assisted Sofia Brown’s goal at 50:38 with Isabella Schute. The teams were level 0–0 through three quarters. West Chester finished with 14 shots (7 on goal) and 12 penalty corners; Converse had six shots (2 on goal) and six corners. West Chester goalkeeper Erin O’Brien made two saves; Converse recorded five team saves.

West Chester’s recap lists the match as non-league. The available sources disagree on Converse goalkeeper save attribution: both box-score player tables credit Camille Hordies with four and Alina Puentes with zero, while West Chester’s recap narrative says four and two. The team total (five) is consistent with the box-score table plus one defensive save, so this brief uses only the team total.
