## Decisive passages

The doubles point therefore required Anderson to win a tight set at the top rather than simply overwhelm every pairing. That distinction matters: the team collected the point, but the underlying matches provide a more useful picture of where the opposition resisted.

## Player impact

The useful follow-up for Anderson was to preserve that singles consistency while examining the tighter doubles courts. An opening sweep provides confidence, but one nonconference opponent cannot establish how the lineup will compare across a full SAC schedule.
