## Decisive passage

The Wolves produced 18 kills in the second set, then won the third despite six kills and seven attack errors. Barton’s ten kills were offset by 12 errors in that closing set. ## Mayberry’s take

The sweep should be read with its efficiency limits intact. Newberry’s .134 hitting percentage was enough against Barton’s .059, but the third set in particular was won amid errors on both sides. The final four-point Barton run also made the close less tidy than the earlier lead suggested. Newberry earned the result; the statistics identify room to improve its attack control rather than implying three uniformly clean sets.
