## The assessment

This reconstructed opening-week edition establishes questions, not a pretend historical prediction. ### East Stroudsburg at Seton Hill

Can ESU turn its higher Eastern Division preseason position into sustained offensive possessions on the road? ### Minnesota Duluth at Slippery Rock

### Lock Haven at Shippensburg

This is a clean 2026 baseline for both schools. Lock Haven’s move to the PSAC West and Shippensburg’s new head coach add context, but do not settle the matchup. Retrospective game-day questions are not a historical forecast record and cannot be scored as predictions. Upcoming questions are scenarios to examine, not validated probabilities. A current schedule page may now show a result for an archived game; that result is not used in the reconstructed outlook.
