The assessment
This week supplied stronger offensive evidence for Slippery Rock, California and Shepherd, each of which repeatedly moved the ball over substantial distances. Kutztown also exposed the limits of projecting Clarion’s opening score against a different opponent. Meanwhile, Edinboro won with nine points, and IUP needed overtime after West Chester’s defense and special teams manufactured a comeback.
